About Apex Tactical Security, LLC…

My husband, James Freeman, has been in private security for 7 years. He has been in Corrections for over 10 years. He is a Level IV Personal Protection Officer. He has extensive firearms and defense tactics training. He graduated from Trent ISD and has been in Abilene since 1986. I have been in private security for 2 years and have worked in Corrections also. I am also a Level IV Personal Protection Officer. I have firearms and defense training as well. 

We purchased the company in April, 2022 and are looking forward to continuing to grow and offer the best security services in or around Abilene. We have grown the company from 5 officers to 15 in less than a year. We have provided services for the City of Abilene Zoo, Taylor County Expo Center, the historic Paramount Theater, 201 Mesquite, Garden Grove, and many other venues around the area. We provided private security for Travis Tritt, Trae Landon, Lyle Lovett, Rodney Crowell, Aaron Watson, Sister Hazel, and several other comedians and entertainers. We’ve worked with non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. We love our community and try to give back as much as we can. 

We offer Level II to Level IV (bodyguard) security. All our officers are Level III (commissioned) or Level IV.
